Location
Kerarvor is located in the Port of Carantec neighborhood, across the water from the island of Callot and the Greve Blanche beach is 2 minutes away where you can fish from the shore or launch kayaks to discover the magical Morlaix Bay.
20 minutes of walking along the Customs path will bring you to Kellenn beach where you can find the sailing school and some good restaurants with outdoor terraces. But closer to hand, at the end of Edmond Pouthier road, 2 restaurants await you on the port.
In 10 or 15 minutes you can walk uphill to the center of Carantec village to find the bakery, the post office, the mayor’s office, church and shops.
Description of the House
Ground floor :
Large, modern, fully equipped kitchen. Light enters from the glass veranda on one end and the quiet rue Edmond Pouthier on the other.
Dining room/summer sitting room in a light- bathed glass veranda open to views on the garden.
There is a separate WC, a return-from-the -beach shower, a laundry room and pantry, equipped with washing machine, dryer, extra fridge and cupboard space.
First Floor :
Upstairs is a luminous mezzanine which enjoys the same glass veranda views of the garden. There is a winter sitting room with fireplace, stereo system, and television.
A spacious bookcase is on the landing/mezzanine.
2 comfortable bedrooms with en suite bathrooms/WC are directly off this landing that faces the glass veranda, one with garden view and morning light the other with evening light.
Second Floor :
A room with double bed, garden view and morning light completes this floor.
A children’s room equipped with 2 bunk beds for children under 13.
A bathroom with a tub and WC is on the landing.
Third Floor :
On the top floor are 2 rooms with 2 single beds each that can be joined to make a double bed or not. One room faces the garden with morning light the other faces the Bay and enjoys a sunset view.
A bathroom with shower and WC is on the landing.
Outside :
Outside the summer sitting room/ dining room is a lovely terrace.
In the garden a shed with a porch and table and a barbecue allows you to enjoy the long evenings outside.
There are 2 kayaks available for use as well as fishing gear. A swing set with a slide in the garden.
